Kaeley DeNegre Named New Field Hockey Coach

Former college athlete Kaeley DeNegre has been named the new Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach for the upcoming fall season. Lauren Griffin will remain with the team as the assistant coach.

“I’m most excited to get to work on development of tactics and continue to grow the program," said Kaeley. "Coach Lauren Griffin really started paving the way for a bright future for the field hockey program and I'm super excited to have her continue to help me along with this journey."

Prior to joining Hamden Hall, Kaeley served as the assistant coach at Connecticut College in New London and the goalkeeper coach at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. She also currently coaches and is the director of operations at HTC Field Hockey Club in Madison.

Kaeley was a multi-sport athlete at North Branford High School where she was a member of the Field Hockey, Fencing, Lacrosse, and Track and Field teams. She was selected for the First Team All-State and First Team All-Shoreline Conference for Field Hockey.

Kaeley graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts. During her time in college, she was a four-year member of the Field Hockey Team. During her junior year, the team reached the Little East Conference Semifinals.
