Former English teacher and faculty member Arnold “Arnie” Sabatelli has been quite busy as he delves into the world of writing and producing as a freelance writer and content creator.
Over the last year, Arnie has completed his book titled Two Thirds Water, a compilation of fly fishing essays, which is currently under consideration by Stackpole Books. This fall, an essay based on a fly fishing experience in central Mexico from his collection titled Trucha Chiquita will be published in The Flyfish Journal. Other essays in the collection have also appeared in outlets such as Fly Fisherman, Trout, and Fly Rod and Reel.
“It’s been great to have the time to pursue my many intellectual and creative interests,” said Arnie. “I’m hoping now to continue to expand my subscribers, listeners, viewers, and readers in the coming year.”
Arnie publishes written content on Substack, an online platform for independent writers. He posts two times a week and writes about his particular areas of interest including the Adirondacks, fly fishing, literature, teaching, bread making, cycling, mushroom foraging, sailing, and more.
