The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Wilbraham & Monson Academy for an afternoon match on Saturday, May 12, winning 6-1.
In the singles match, eighth-grader Rebecca Danishevsky won her set with a score of 8-0. Junior Rachel Danishevsky won her set with a score of 8-0. Senior Vanessa Gold won her set with a score of 8-3.
In the doubles match, junior Annabel Beatty and freshman Addison Lewis won their set with a score of 9-7. Freshmen Linda Chen and Shalani Singh won their set with a score of 8-2. Eighth-grader Zhanna Milani and seventh-grader Anna Aslan won their set with a score of 8-0.
“I am proud of the hard work and effort the girls put in all season,” commented Coach Bob Scarella. “It has been a pleasure coaching them.”
