The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse team took on Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Kingswood Oxford for a mid-week match on Wednesday, May 3, winning 12-4.
Taking the field, the Hornets were quick on the attack and led 8-0 by halftime. Sophomore Niko Millhouse tallied six goals and one assist while junior Tyler Gibson contributed both defensively and offensively with two “pole goals”. Tyler also earned the game ball.
“The boys were poised to secure a win as they led with great defense and potent, patient offense,” said Coach Kiernan Griffin.
The team returns to the Skiff Street Athletic Fields to compete against King School on Friday, May 5, at 4:45 p.m.
