The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team welcomed the Forman School for an afternoon match on Monday, April 17, winning 12-5.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, the Hornets led the Lions throughout the first three quarters. Eighth-grader Jason Reitman scored the first goal of the match while freshman Joseph Swan led the scoring line with four goals and two assists.
On the defensive side, senior Ethan Coady has proven to be a major factor in transition plays. Junior and goalie Tyler Gibson tallied 11 saves while sophomore Grayson Nichols was unstoppable at the Faceoff X going 16-for-19 on plays.
“The game was in hand from the first moments,” commented Coach Kiernan Griffin. “Everyone played well.”
