The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team tipped off against Rye Country Day School on Wednesday, February 8, winning 68-41.
Senior Alex Puhl led the Hornets in the first quarter tallying 15 points while senior Matteo Crisanti and juniors Mason Gorham and Ryan Stratton kept strong on the defensive end adding a combined 29 points to the scoreboard.
“We got out to a quick lead and never looked back,” said Ryan.
Coach Sean Doherty commented that the team did a great job at protecting the net and making the big plays necessary to win.
The team returns home to the Beckerman Athletic Center on Friday, February 10, at 4 p.m., to face off against Brunswick School in a Fairchester Athletic Association League game.
