The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team hosted Holy Child School at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Saturday, January 21, winning 65-30.
With the home court advantage, senior Eveani Okwuosa led the Hornets tallying 20 points while senior Rayne Durant scored 16 points. Sophomores Emma Olausson and Payton Collins utilized their quickness and speed to take a scoring advantage against the Tigers and net a combined 20 points for the team.
“Great team win all-around,” commented Coach Brian Johnson.
The team also won its Friday night non-league game against Dalton School, 51-38.
The Lady Hornets return to the court to face off against Convent of the Sacred Heart on Monday, January 23, at 3:30 p.m.
