White Coat Honor for Class of 2016 Alumnus

Class of 2016 alumnus Carl Porto III was presented with his white coat during a recent ceremony at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School.

In attendance at the ceremony were Carl’s parents, Upper School Director Kim Porto 1987 and father Carl Porto II 1986.

According to Mrs. Porto, Carl is planning to become a neurosurgeon.

While in undergrad at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., Carl double majored in Spanish and psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. Following graduation in 2020, he joined the post baccalaureate premedical program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., and now studies medicine at Brown University.
