It’s a reunion on the gridiron for alumni Matthew Murchison, Class of 2016, Nicholas Linta, Class of 2013, Steven Reynolds, Class of 2015, and Melvin Wells, Class of 2017, who are back with the Hornets as assistant coaches on the Varsity Football team.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Joe Linta, each alum holds a different responsibility on the team. Matthew and Melvin are line coaches, Nicholas is the wide receiver and defensive back coach, and Steven is the defensive coordinator.
Outside of their coaching duties, all four young alums are also engaged in their respective careers. Matthew is in real estate with American First Reality and also serves as an agent and project manager at RCR Russo Corp. Nicholas is a certified NFL/CFL agent with JL Sports. Steven works as an account manager at CDW Corporation, a provider of technology products and services for business, government and education; and Melvin works as a health and accident insurance agent at HPOne.
