Annual Stuff-A-Bus Initiative Helps Feed Local Families
Our Hamden Hall community stuffed two buses this year during our longstanding Stuff-A-Bus tradition that takes place prior to Thanksgiving.
Students, faculty, and staff delivered food and more than $1,000 for turkeys to the Hamden Food Bank at the Keefe Community Center on Friday, Nov. 20. Sharon Jones, Keefe Program Manager, reported that there are more families than ever before in need of food due to the pandemic.
According to Lower School Director Lorri Carroll, Hamden Hall surpassed last year's totals in all three divisions.
Hamden Hall Country Day School, located less than two miles from Yale University, is one of the best private schools in Connecticut to enroll elementary, middle, and high school students. Our nurturing and inclusive community provides a dynamic learning environment that promotes academic excellence by understanding each child and fostering their individual growth.
