Hornets Edge Master's in Home Opener

The weather certainly was far from ideal, however, the team played very well in their season opener, defeating the visiting Lions 13-9. Avery Giorgio led all scorers with 6 goals. Krystina Reynolds scored 3, while Sarah Bennett and Blake Acquarulo added 2 apiece. Perhaps the highlight of the game was the successful debut of rookie goalie, Bobbie Esposito, who looked solid between the posts.
