Melvin Wells Orates Congratulatory Message to Curry Classmates
Melvin I. Wells III, Class of 2017, graduated from Curry College on May 23. He was the orator of the Class of 2021 and delivered an impactful speech at graduation, sentiments of which were published in Boston’s The Patriot Ledger newspaper. “May you live in interesting times,” stated Melvin as he kicked off his speech.
Melvin graduated with a double major in psychology and philosophy. He also served as the captain of the Curry College Football team – only the second African-American in the school’s history to earn that distinction.
“I’m currently studying for the LSAT in preparation to apply to law school in hopes of attending next year in 2022,” said Melvin of his post-graduation plans.
