Girls’ Varsity Golf Places Third at NEPSAC Tournament

The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team competed in the 39th Pippy O’Connor Independent School Girls Golf Classic/New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament at the Simsbury Farms Golf Course on Monday, May 12, and placed third overall with a score of 325.

Following a record-breaking season with the first FAA Golf title for Hamden Hall, the Lady Hornets took the green against 15 other schools in its first-ever Pippy/NEPSAC Tournament. Sophomore Teresa Esposito posted 73 and finished fourth and freshman Shawna Aurora posted 77. Junior Berrak Simsek and freshman Lila Reiling did well in their individual outing.

Next up for the team is the Fishers Island Invitational Tournament on Tuesday, May 13, beginning at 8 a.m.
