Since establishing the company, Jake has signed two female guards from the University of Miami Women’s Basketball Team: Endia Banks and Mykea Gray. He also signed Yale University defensive back Dathan Hickey.

With new rules in place this year for college athletics, Jake was featured in an article in MLive, a digital news organization in Michigan. The story focused on the landscape of college sports, and Jake spoke to the NCAA’s July announcement that college athletes can be compensated for their name, image, and likeness or NIL.

Jake, who obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in 2020, noted in the article that he was excited for the NCAA to open this avenue. “This is bigger than just sports,” he said. “This was a human rights issue.”

While at UM’s School of Education and Human Development, Jake majored in human and social development and minored in sports administration.
