Google Shopping Taps Class of 2011 Alumnus

Class of 2011 alumnus Jared Bronen has expanded his technical career and now works for Google Shopping as a software engineer on the Loyalty Team.

His workday responsibilities include designing backend services, working with product managers, and writing code to build new features that customers see on a Google search when browsing or intending to buy a product.

Outside of work, Jared hosts comedy shows around New York City. In addition to performing, Jared helps prepare for the shows by writing material with a few close collaborators and booking other comics. Additionally, he recently had a short film he worked on premiere at a film festival in Portland, Maine, and will be showcasing another film he worked on at The Chain Film Festival in New York City on Aug. 3-13.

Jared graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He went on to continue his education at Tufts where he obtained his master’s degree in computer science.
