Class of 2014 alumna Allison “Allie” Izzo graduated with an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. As a student in the Langone Part-Time MBA program, she specialized in Strategy; Supply Chain Management and Global Sourcing; and Leadership and Change Management.
Alumnus Jake Miceli, Class of 2019, graduated in May from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jake majored in finance with a minor in architecture.

Hamden Hall’s eighth head of school, James R. Maggart, passed away Nov. 19, 2021. Jim had served for 13 years under the pines before retiring in May 2004. Upon his retirement in 2004, Jim was surprised with news that his school community had established the James R. Maggart Scholarship Fund in his honor.
Jim's fund supports the education of young women.

Wilma R. Russell Merrill, Hamden Hall Class of 1957, of Sandwich, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on April 27 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. She was 84.
John F. Baesch, of South Baltimore, an Army veteran and retired CSX and Amtrak executive, died Nov. 14, of heart failure. He was 78. John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Hamden Hall alumna Evelyn Herzog, Class of 1965.
Stephen M. Babbitz of Orange, died on February 23 at the age of 81. He is survived by his daughter, Mara Babbitz Ginsberg, Hamden Hall Class of 1985 alumna and past parent, son David, Hamden Hall Class of 1986, several grandchildren, two of whom are Hamden Hall alumni, Nicholas Ginsberg, Class of 2010, and Abigail Ginsberg, Class of 2011, two great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan, whom he married in 1964.
