Sydney Doolittle 2013 is Management Consultant

Sydney Doolittle, Hamden Hall Class of 2013, is an operations management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) based out of the office in Boston, Mass. Sydney is working on a Work and Asset Management (WAM) software implementation at a Power & Utilities company and “am loving the challenges that I am faced with every day!” After her graduation from Hamden Hall in 2013, Sydney attended Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. She was accepted into one of the college's gateway programs called the Interdisciplinary Science Program, which is a select program designed for students interested in enriching their exposure to the links between science and society as well as engaging in research apprenticeship within the first year of school. The professors with whom Sydney interacted in this program encouraged her to pursue what would later become her major—a B.S. in engineering with a concentration in mechanical engineering. “I enjoyed the opportunity to work with the engineering department's 3D printer, which included collaborating with fellow classmates to design and print a prosthetic hand as well as a scale model replica of our campus chapel,” she said. Sydney also played on the Varsity Field Hockey Team, earning National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Academic All-American honors all four seasons and NESCAC All-Academic Team the last three seasons. She was tri-captain and the team's NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team recipient during her senior season. She held a variety of internships during the summers of her undergraduate career, including engineering computing intern at Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, Conn.) and research assistant at Hall & Partners (London, England). Following her graduation at Trinity in 2017, she “slightly changed gears” and headed to her current position in Boston.
