Boys’ Varsity Baseball Advances to NEPSAC Semifinals
The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team welcomed St. Luke’s School for the quarterfinal game of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) tournament on Monday, May 24, winning 6-5.
Returning home to the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, the team was fired up and ready to play. Juniors Gavin Lyons and Ryan Lynch both pitched a combined six innings while freshman Amato Civitello pitched a perfect seventh inning. At the plate, sophomore Carlos Reyes hit two doubles while junior Brady Chernovetz delivered two RBIs to help secure the final win.
The team has improved its record to 13-2 and advances to the NEPSAC semifinal game against Kings Edgehill on Wednesday, May 25, at 4 p.m.
