Comeback Win for Boys’ Varsity Basketball in FAA Game

The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team tipped off against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Masters School on Saturday, February 4, winning 77-65.

 

Sophomore Ben Miller kept the defensive force strong against the Lions and tallied 21 points while seniors Matteo Crisanti and Alex Puhl dominated inside the courtline and added a combined 32 to the scoreboard. Junior Alex Prezioso and sophomore Jordan Vermiglio took advantage of the rebounds and helped the team secure the final victory.

 

“We came together today, focused in, made the right plays and played together as a team, which got the job done,” said Ben.

 

Coach Sean Doherty commented that it was great to see the team smiling again after a hard -fought road team win.

 

The team returns to the court to face off against Rye Country Day School on Wednesday, February 8, at 4:45 p.m.
