Tri-Meet for Co-ed Varsity Swimming and Diving

The Co-ed Varsity Swimming and Diving Team returned to the pool on Friday, January 7, to compete in a tri-meet against Masters School and Westover School.
 
For the Boys’ Team, senior Evan Huang, senior Patrick Cucchiarelli, sophomore Anthony Ferneini, and sophomore Eric Huang placed first in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:48:67. Sophomore Parker Jones placed first in the 500 Free with a time of 5:56:57 and freshman Heath Schwarz placed second with a time of 6:26:46. Junior Connor Jermain placed second with a time of 24:57 in the 50 Free.
 
For Diving, eighth-grader Jehan Mody placed first with a score of 114.90.
 
For the Girls’ Team, freshman Emma Cunningham, eighth-graders Alessandra Sticca and Zhanna Milani and seventh-grader Vivian Martin placed third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:41.42. Sophomore Alexis Velez placed fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 3:30.15.
 
Coach Jen Lyman commented that the team overall performed well, and everyone is eager to begin the second half of the season.
 
The team competes in its first away meet against Canterbury School and Holy Child on Saturday, January 14, at 2:30 p.m.
