Class of 2009 Alumnus Announces Engagement
Class of 2009 alumnus Grant Smith has announced his engagement to Lauren Melillo.
The happy couple was hiking at Kent Falls last summer when he proposed with the help of their dog Isla. On Isla’s collar was a handkerchief with paw prints and the words “Will you marry my dad?”
The wedding has been set for August 25, 2023, at The Hops Company in Derby, Conn.
Grant is the son of longtime administrator and French teacher Suzanne Hamlin-Smith.
