Scrimmage Meet for Co-Ed Varsity Cross Country
The Co-ed Varsity Cross Country team traveled to The Williams School for a non-league scrimmage on Saturday, September 10.
Hamden Hall entered twelve athletes into the face with eight running their first high school 5k. Captain and senior Reuben Colten won his race with a time of 20.04, which is two minutes faster than his previous first race last season. For the girls’ race, captain and junior Mason Rickey placed second with a time of 24.36.
“It was a great pre-season start,” commented Coach Aidan Clark-Long. “All the students pushed hard and performed their best.”
The team competes against Canterbury School on Saturday, September 24, at 12:30 p.m.
