Girls’ Varsity Soccer Wins Home Game
The Girls’ Varsity Soccer team faced off against St. Andrew’s School on September 17, winning 1-0.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, the team took charge out of the gate. Captain and sophomore Alexa Bettencourt scored the Hornet’s first and only goal while sophomore Gracie Chometa and freshman Jane Jagielow played strong on the offensive line.
“The girls’ played hard and we hope to keep the momentum going into our next game,” commented Coach Roland Joseph.
The team heads on the road to take on Westover School on Wednesday, September 21, at 4:15 p.m.
