Class of 2011 Alumna Marries Longtime Love

Class of 2011 alumna Cameron “Cammy” Griffin married her longtime love Ben Porter on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Popponesset Inn on Cape Cod.

The couple who met during the first week of their freshman year at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, kicked off their wedding weekend in Popponesset with a lobster and clam bake rehearsal dinner. The wedding party enjoyed a morning run and beach day before Ben’s family hosted welcome drinks at their home during the evening.

Cameron and Ben wed at Christ the King Church in Mashpee, Mass. Cameron’s mother, Beth Paradis Griffin 1972, walked her daughter down the aisle and her niece, Eleanor "Nelly" Griffin, was the flower girl. Nelly, whose parents are Hamden Hall coaches Lauren and Kiernan Griffin, Class of 2000, is a new student in our community for the 2022-2023 school year.

Cameron noted it was a beautiful day and the couple was surrounded by their amazing family and friends. After the ceremony, the wedding party and family took the Cape Cod Trolley back to the Popponesset Inn for the reception. Guests danced the night away, with many Hamden Hallers actually getting on the microphone with the band!

Fellow Hamden Hall alumni who attended the wedding included Cameron’s brother Kiernan, Morgan Massey 2011, Marlee Teplitzky 2011, Christina Ferneini 2011, Lindsay Perrelli 2011, Francesca Anastasio 2011, Taylor Massey 2011, Abby Ginsberg 2011, Taylor De Natale 2011, Kelsey McCray 2011, and Tayler Thorpe 2012.

Congratulations and best wishes to the couple!
