Boys’ Varsity Baseball Wins Non-Conference Game
Boys’ Varsity Baseball traveled to Suffield Academy on Friday May 6, to play a non-conference game, winning 11-2.
Taking the mound, pitcher and sophomore Gavin Lyons threw four shut-out innings. Freshman Asher Wasserman added two hits to the scoreboard while sophomore Jayden Novak hit a sac fly to secure the win.
Coach Brad Chernovetz noted the team improved its record to 10-5.
The Hornets are back in action against Hopkins School on Wednesday, May 11, at 4:30 p.m.
