Class of 1995 Alumna Empowers MBA Students

Class of 1995 alumna Tricia Keith Baione supports and empowers MBA students to achieve their lifelong career ambitions through advisement and career-coaching.

As the Executive Director of Career Education and Advising at the Columbia Business School, Tricia oversees the career education, advising strategy, operations, and delivery for 1,600 full-time MBA students. She offers guidance in career management and provides resources including core job search, self-assessment evaluations, on-the-job success tools, tips on leadership skills, and overall professional development strategies.

In addition to advising, Tricia creates and presents professional development workshops, seminars, and panels for students. She writes for Columbia’s alumni magazine focusing on academics and careers advice. Click here to read her article on achieving the “perfect pitch.”

Tricia noted that she was given the superlative “Future Headmistress” by her classmates as “it’s fitting for a Lifer who’s now a University administrator.” She added that her colleague is Adam Galisky, husband of fellow 1995 classmate Jen Olayon.

Tricia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colgate University in 1999. She earned her MBA from Columbia Business School in 2009.

She and her husband James celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in July 2022. The family currently lives in New York City with their three daughters: Jocelyn, 11, Juliana, 6, and Jane, 2 1/2.
