2009 Alumnus Initiates New Alumni Network
Tyler Williams 2009, an attorney for Berchem Moses PC in Milford, is forming an Alumni Network at Hamden Hall.
His vision is to form a network of alumni who are focused on forging relationships with one another in order to support and engage their fellow Hornets – no matter where they are located in the world. An initial group of alums met via Zoom to brainstorm the idea during the height of the pandemic. Tyler said he hopes this network will also foster growth and build relationships between current students and alumni while offering a mentoring component in their fields of interest.
A resident of Hamden, Tyler currently works as an attorney for Berchem Moses PC in Milford. Upon graduating from Hamden Hall, Tyler went on to play football at Stonehill College, a Division II school. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in political science and went on to the School of Law at the University of Connecticut, Class of 2018.
Living and working in close proximity to Hamden Hall, Tyler said he anticipates that others will join him as he seeks to create a network of dedicated Hamden Hall alumni. Throughout the years, Tyler has maintained close relationships with many of his classmates and peers from Hamden Hall. He realizes that, unlike other schools, the close-knit community that Hamden Hall fosters allows students to create relationships with people in different grades. Through this initiative, Tyler noted that students and alumni can better maintain the relationships they began in high school.
“Hamden Hall remains one of the best educational institutions in Connecticut,” said Tyler. “As such, the school has produced some top professionals in a variety of fields in places as far as Los Angeles, Calif., and London, England. Through social events, professional growth workshops, and an alumni database, alumni throughout the country will be able to connect and build on the friendships they found during their time at Hamden Hall.”
Alumni ready to network include Tyler, Elizabeth Ciresi Dowd 1988, Stephanie Verhoeff Feigin 1990, Emily Feldman Pfeffer 2005, Tom Shanahan 2006, Martin Clark 2010, Malcolm Clark 2010, Tyler Woods 2010, and Blake Acquarulo 2012.
