Sean Morrissey 2016 is Salve Regina Graduate
Sean Morrissey, Class of 2016, graduated with honors in May 2020 from Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in financial management and marketing with a double minor in business administration and economics.
He was a graduate of the Pell Honors Program with several designations: He was a two-time campus leadership award recipient; a member of the Alpha Mu Alpha Honor Society; a member of the Institute of Management Accountants Accounting Honor Society; and the recipient of the Capt. Michael Dasovich 1984 Memorial Award for Excellence in Management in his senior year (one of 10 awards given to graduating seniors).
Sean was a member of the varsity sailing team all four years at Salve and was an ambassador to the business department for prospective students.
Additionally, he was the president of the university’s Cryptocurrency Club (along with being a member of several other campus organizations), and he served as a presenter for the Economic Impact of Salve Regina University on Aquidneck Island.
Sean’s future plans include a finance internship at Trinity Point Wealth in Milford, Conn., which he hopes will lead to a fulltime job. Sean acknowledges Hamden Hall for paving his path thus far. “Hamden Hall truly was a special place and has prepared me fully for all of my life’s journeys such as attending Salve to landing a full time job. The lessons I learned during my time at Hamden Hall are ones I will carry with me for the rest of my life.” Congratulations to Sean and best of luck!
