For Caron Shutan, Class of 1975, exchanging wedding vows to Jay Yospe may have been postponed in Fall 2019 due to Hurricane Dorian but the alumna bride says the wait was worth it. “We got married with all of our families and close friends surrounding us on Dec. 1, 2019. We were married at the exquisite Four Seasons, Palm Beach. It was a Sunday morning wedding ceremony with the resort’s spectacular brunch. The weather Gods were with us this go-round! It was magical day I will always treasure.”
Caron and Jay live in Boca Raton where Caron is in her fifth year at the national office of Make-A-Wish America where she focuses on planned giving—work Caron describes as “purposeful and gratifying.” She adds, “During this pandemic, I’ve had a close eye on my parents, both in their 90s, and know how blessed I am to have them nearby.” Hamden Hall past parents Irma and David Shutan live in Boyton Beach. Best wishes to the entire family for good health and happiness.
