Campus Store Goes Digital
Sporting school spirit wear has never been easier with the addition of an online campus store that is now available to the greater Hamden Hall community.
According to Campus Store manager Daria Howard, the new website is up and ready to be viewed at store.hamdenhall.org – or just click the icon on the top bar (located to the right) of any of Hamden Hall’s website pages.
“Adding an online campus store just adds a greater convenience level for our school community. Shoppers can view the selection on their personal devices and click to order,” said Mrs. Howard.
Items can be picked up at the school store on campus or mailed to homes.
Currently, merchandise is somewhat cramped within the confines of the campus store. It’s difficult to view all that’s on hand in the back room, and Mrs. Howard noted that potential purchasers aren’t necessarily aware of the entire selection. The new website, created by technology coordinator Chris Buckley, addresses those challenges.
“We couldn’t display all of the items for sale in a nice way at the school store, but now we can show off the merchandise,” she said.
Shoppers are able to purchase everything from blankets to water bottles to onesies and umbrellas. Clothing is available in youth to adult sizes and includes such items as jackets, rain gear, hoodies, joggers, and hats.
Over the years, alumni have expressed interest in being able to order items such as T-shirts and other alma mater apparel. Mrs. Howard says there’s more to come in terms of available merchandise, and that the site is a great resource for gift ideas.
