Wesleyan Graduate Honored with Teaching Award

Maya Harlan, Class of 2015, graduated from Wesleyan University in the Class of 2019. Maya earned a bachelor's degree in economics and psychology, minoring in data analytics. She was awarded with departmental honors in economics. Maya is in The International Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi, and The International Economics Honor Society. Omicron Delta Epsilon.
Maya Harlan was furthered honored at Wesleyan's spring prize reception on May 8 and received the Plukas Teaching Apprentice Award - Established in 1986 by John Plukas, Class of 1966. This prize is awarded for excellent service to the Economics Department as a teaching apprentice.
In Summer 2018, Maya interned with the investments division of AIG in Wilton and New York. She was offered a return position and start there in 2019 in New York City.
Maya’s family is “very fortunate and grateful to have shared her Wesleyan and soccer experiences, to know her extraordinary, talented and generous friends, and their supportive families.”
