Weekend Win for Girls’ Varsity Volleyball
The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Holy Child School for an afternoon game on Saturday, September 13, winning 3-1.
Senior Grace Yang excelled at setting the ball while fellow senior Tami Afolalu delivered powerful hits. Sophomore Shawna Aurora dominated on the serving line and sophomore Anna Aslan demonstrated excellent passing.
Coach Gary Aurora noted that the win was the result of strong performances from several players. The team record has improved to 3-1 for the season.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for an away game against Sacred Heart Greenwich on Monday, September 15, at 4:45 p.m.
