Boys’ Varsity Soccer Win Season Opener
The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team traveled for its first match of the season against Christian Heritage School on Monday, September 8, winning 3-1.
Taking the field, junior Anton Cruz scored one goal for the Hornets and sophomore Harry Chiang followed with a second goal and an assist from Anton. Sophomore Trin Sukduang closed out the game with an unassisted goal. Junior Theo Baron had a stellar game in goal.
Coach Michael Moore noted that the defensive line played a great game holding Christian Heritage to only one goal.
The team returns to the field for an away game against Rye Country Day School on Thursday, September 11, at 4:30 p.m.
