The Hamden Hall Experience Summer!

Hamden Hall Country Day School offers a wide range of Summer Programs for students entering PreSchool through Grade 12 – from a traditional camp experience to enriching learning opportunities that foster the Hamden Hall Experience. An Open House for families to learn more about the school’s Summer Programs will be held Sunday, April 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Beckerman Athletic Center, 225 Skiff St., Hamden.

The summer program is in session June 11 through Aug. 10.

Hamden Hall Summer Programs take advantage of both of the school’s campuses. Camp Hornet and Sports Camps take place at the school’s state-of-the-art Skiff Street Athletic Complex while the Summer Academy and Early Childhood Discovery Academy utilize the main campus on Whitney Avenue. Most of the offerings are facilitated by Hamden Hall’s distinguished faculty and premier coaches.

Camp Hornet offers daily swim lessons, group games, arts and crafts, sports, and themed activities and runs daily from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sports camps offer the aspiring athlete the opportunity to improve individual skills or learn the fundamentals of a new sport.

The Summer Academy offers a variety of enrichment workshops and classes, study skills programs, preview/review courses in core subject areas, and credit courses.

The Early Childhood Discovery Academy is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and features weekly themed adventures in storytelling, music, art, learning garden, science, water play, cooking, and local age-appropriate field trips.

Extended day coverage is available for all Summer Programs and various tuition discounts are offered for siblings.
