Amy Farquharson, Class of 2018, has graduated a semester early with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
While attending Hamden Hall, Amy enrolled in AP and college-level courses that granted her credits towards her chosen major. On the fast-track program at Rensselaer, she incorporated these credits with a two co-op term with Moog Inc, a world leader in aircraft, industrial, space, and defense systems.
During her freshman year of college, Amy was inducted into Sigma Gamma Tau, the aeronautical honor society. She maintained a 3.66 GPA and has been granted admission into the Masters/Ph.D. program at Rensselaer for Fall 2022.
Prior to the fall semester, Amy plans to take a well-deserved trip around Europe, according to her mother Susan Farquharson.
