Why Hamden Hall? The most asked question and our response always is, “Why not HH?”

We moved to CT from Boston 8 years ago, and knew we wanted to send our kids to a private school starting their Freshman year. When we started looking for schools for our daughter, Riya, we came across Hamden Hall’s website and its core values. It just made sense to us. These lines stood out: “…to challenge students to develop a strong sense of personal integrity and social responsibility.”

This made our belief much stronger that Hamden Hall was the right school and fit for Riya - Hamden Hall’s small school setting, the individual attention to the students, and the overall community feeling.

I myself have been a part of the Parents’ Association for last 3 years and I have met the most amazing people. Hamden Hall is like our "second home!" Gaurav and I are thrilled to be part of Hamden Hall’s community, its core values, rigorous curriculum, and friendship. Riya graduated and attended Northeastern with a major in biochemistry and a minor in English. Our son Rahul is finishing up his Freshman year. Even though Riya is sad about leaving her second home, we know that with Hamden Hall’s values and curriculum, she is ready to face college. And, lucky for us, we still have 3 more years to go with our son Rahul!
