This year, we are excited to be participating in Ship to Shore, an overnight educational program at Mystic Seaport. This facility offers a variety of unique opportunities for a wonderful outdoor experience and also provides sleeping cabins aboard the ship Joseph Conrad. The breadth of relevant hands-on activities, comfortable eating and sleeping areas, and numerous safety measures make Ship to Shore a priceless opportunity in which we can make our students’ social studies lessons on maritime history, apprenticeships and sailing come to life.
