2022 Alumna Accepts Nursing Job at Yale New Haven
Class of 2022 alumna Madisyn D’Errico graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Nursing at the University of Kentucky.
During her time in undergrad, Madisyn was involved in campus clubs and activities. She was a member of the Nursing Student Association, a club for nursing students that helps new students adjust to the program. Madisyn and other members provided tours for the incoming students and worked with organizations around Lexington to run food and donation drives.
Additionally, she was part of Dance Blue, a student-run organization that raises money for the DanceBlue Clinic in the Kentucky Children’s Hospital that treats children with pediatric cancer. Madisyn noted that at the end of the year, all members participated in a 24-hour no sitting or standing marathon.
Professionally, Madisyn has accepted a job at Yale New Haven Hospital in the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit.
