Class of 2016 Alumna Heads to Medical School

Class of 2016 alumna and Lifer Kayla Stanley will attend the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in the fall.

Kayla graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020 where she majored in Psychology and minored in Chemistry and Spanish. Following graduation, she completed a post baccalaureate program at the University of Connecticut and interned during the pandemic in a family health clinic in Hartford.

Kayla credits her interest in science and medicine to science teacher Dr. Gina D’Angelo. She also noted that she is thrilled to return to her alma mater for medical school.
