Hamden Hall Country Day School

Educating students in PreSchool through Grade 12
Why give to The Hamden Hall Fund?
Like most independent schools, there’s a gap that prevails between the actual cost of a per-student private school education and the per-student tuition income. That discrepancy is about 80-20, meaning that a student’s tuition only covers 80 percent of the overall education cost at Hamden Hall. Hamden Hall supplements its tuition revenue stream with fundraising, including our annual appeal to the Hamden Hall Fund (formerly called the Annual Fund). We depend on all of our constituents to help shore up that 20 percent gap in our daily operating expenses – from parents, to faculty, to trustees, alumni, past parents, and friends.
