Hamden Hall appreciates the generosity of its donors, and every gift is important. Many of the ways to support our school are listed below.

Capital Campaign

Annual Fund                      
Unrestricted gifts that bridge the gap between income and expenses, allowing us to meet the needs not met by tuition. Click here for more information.

Endowments 
Gifts to specific restricted funds.

Matching Gifts
Employer-matched donations.

Gifts of Stock
Ownership transfer of stocks, bonds, securities.

Real Estate/Personal Property Gifts
Transfer of ownership of property.

Planned Giving

Charitable Gift Annuity - Personal endowment fund that may provide lifetime income to donor.

Deferred Gift Annuity - Asset transfer program that provides immediate tax reduction to donor and deferral of income.

Charitable Remainder Trusts - Gifts that are placed in a trust, the termination of which determines the endowment to the school, as well as providing an income to the donor.

Bequests - Transferral of property or assets at the time of death of donor.

Life Insurance Gifts - Insurance policy that may simplify estate planning,  reduce estate taxes and provide a benefit to the school.

MATCHING GIFTS  
Many corporations have a matching gift program where they will match your gift to our school. This match can double, triple or even quadruple the amount of your gift. Please inquire to determine if your company participates in this program.  

STOCK TRANSFERS  
A gift of appreciated stock is a convenient and economical way to make a gift to our school.   To make a stock gift please call the Development Office at (203) 752-2616.

COMMEMORATIVE GIFTS  
A commemorative gift offers family and friends an opportunity to mark a special occasion, recognize a faculty member, fellow classmate, honor or remember a friend or loved one while supporting our school. These gifts will be recognized with the following acknowledgement:

BEQUESTS / LEGACY GIVING / PLANNED GIFTS  
Bequests, life insurance policies, real estate properties or charitable remainder trust are substantial ways to support our school.  Tax benefits are applicable and the benefits to Hamden Hall are appreciated.
