The Girls’ Varsity Softball Team earned its first win of the season against Greenwich Country Day School on Thursday, April 11, winning 19-7.
Junior and starting pitcher Mara Patterson led the team through four innings. Eighth-grader Chloe Carling was 2-for-2 at the plate with two triples, allowing runs to score. Senior Isabella Aldo and freshman Rylee Sweeney both walked in the final outing to secure the game win.
Coach Laura Montone commented that the girls did well throughout the game despite the cold and rainy weather.
