Road Win for Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse
The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team matched up against Cheshire Academy on Wednesday, April 10, winning 13-8.
It was a battle on the field between the Hornets and the Wildcats. Junior and goalie Bryan Hong made some key saves in the net to give the team a 6-5 lead going into halftime. Senior Jake Cacace was dominant in the midfield with eight ground balls as junior Shane Esposito netted five goals and six assists. The team dominated the second half of the game and pulled away with the win.
“The team played a very inspired and physical game, matching the physicality of a very big and strong Cheshire Academy team,” said Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000.
The team travels to the Forman School for an afternoon match on Saturday, April 13, at 3:15 p.m.
