Miss Emily Anderson Says Yes

Second-grade teacher and Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse coach Emily Anderson and her boyfriend Morgan Ward White are now engaged.

Emily and Morgan met while working at a local gym where he was a trainer and she taught group exercise and spinning classes. They started dating in July of 2019 and have since established an active lifestyle together as they have run the New York City Marathon in 2021 and completed various Spartan obstacle courses together.

Morgan proposed while on a trip to London this past August. He booked a private pod on the London Eye and as they reached the top with the London sky scape and sunset in the background, he got down on one knee and she said “yes.”

Emily noted that London is a special place for the couple as they both spent a semester in college studying abroad in the fall of 2015 and 2016 respectively.

The happy couple currently live in East Haven where Emily is entering her eighth year at Hamden Hall. Morgan works as a marine operations analyst for a private cruise company.
