We are bringing the hockey tradition back to campus. Join us in the newly established hockey program. Students will have the opportunity to participate in skill-building sessions leading to the competitive future Hamden Hall Hockey Team!

Who: All Hamden Hall students in grades 4 to 12. Boys and girls are invited to participate.  

Where:  Northford Ice Pavilion     24 Clintonville Road    Northford, CT  

When:  November 2008 to March 2009  

Equipment:  Standard hockey equipment required  

Requirements: Skating experience required  

Time: Practice will take place four times per week after school for one hour between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Specific times to be determined.


Coaching Staff


Josh Siembida  - Well known in local hockey circles, Josh is a native of Ontario, Canada. He played Juniors as a goalie for the Waterloo Blackhawks and the Wichita Falls, Wildcats.  He also played college hockey for the University of North Dakota and Quinnipiac University (both Division I schools). He currently teaches hockey for the Skate Factory and AHD.


 

Bob Schroeder – Director of Hamden Hall’s Upper and Middle Schools and longtime hockey coach of Hamden Hall Hockey, Bob played and coached at the University of Vermont and was inducted into the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame.



David Ferraiuolo- David, an experienced coach, played and coached both varsity soccer and hockey at North Haven High School, Varsity Soccer at Mitchell Jr. College and at the University of New Haven.  He also coached Yale Youth Hockey and CT Polar Bear's Women's Hockey. 

 

Eric Germain- Eric has 10 years of professional hockey playing experience with a stint in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings. He spent 3 of those years playing locally for the New Haven Nighthawks of the AHL. Since retiring from Pro Hockey in 1998, he has been involved coaching youth hockey first with Hamden youth hockey and more recently with the CT Wolves organization.
